This recipe makes delicious, chewy chocolate chip cookies. Enjoy!

Ingredients
2 cups of sifted self-raising flour
1/2 cup of white sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
3/4 cup of butter
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 cups of chocolate chips

Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees C).
2. Melt the butter, and cream it together with the brown and white sugar in a medium-sized bowl.
3. Beat in the vanilla extract, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy. Mix in the flur and salt until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips using a wooden spoon. Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto the prepared cookie sheets. Cookies should be about 3 inches apart. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly toasted. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
